The word Tantra is thrown around quite a bit in many circles, be that spiritual, gay, straight, or even the sex industry, and it often means very different things. We would like to start off with the simple question: What is Tantra?

What is Tantra?
Originating as an Indian spirituality way back in the 500s B.C.  - If that sounds like meditation to you, then you are not wrong, because Tantra does have meditation as a core element.

Tantra is the hot blood of spiritual practice. It smashes the taboo against unreasonable happiness; a thunderbolt path, swift, joyful, and fierce.  

Tantra is the art of touch, the art of receiving and the art of being in the moment.

Why are people attracted to Tantra ?
Tantra is multi dimensional and people are attracted to it for a variety of reasons, as either couples or singles: to enhance sexuality and lovemaking skills, be that for erectile dysfunction, lasting longer or to experience what the body is truly capable of , ultimately to improve their relationship with a significant other or indeed themselves.  Tantra is also a pathway for physical rejuvenation, personal development or spiritual enlightenment.

The Reality is that some people have Tantra Sessions to simply “get a load off” there is nothing wrong with that at all – in fact that and the desire to try something different,  including sex with another male,  and the power of Tantra is often the first step to discovering who you are as a person and what the possibilities are for life.

It should be emphasised that there is no right or wrong reasons for being attached to Tantra, we are all individuals and as long as we walk with an open heart and a desire to learn then that is all that matters.

1. Tantra is a hand job at the end of a massage – Tantra is all about feeling what your body is capable of  - not laying on a table waiting for the practitioner to jack you off , and the 5 minutes of pleasure you feel

Tantra practitioners are sex workers in disguise – As Tantra Practitioners we appreciate the work that we do, and know where we are working from – Tantra Practitioners are not prostitutes, sex workers or even sex addicts – they are the keepers of the sacred knowledge of Tantric practise and willing to share that knowledge and experience with the client.
3. Tantra is all about “fucking” - Tantra is about experiencing the body and its capabilities, enjoying the journey and discovering something new about your physical being, its connection to emotion and the universe
4. Tantra is all about kinky sex - Tantra is in fact an ancient spiritual idea about appreciating the moment to the fullest and not about leather, whips chains and pain
5. Tantra is black magic, witchcraft or even the work of Satan – Tantra is not magic does not have any connection with witchcraft and while it is stepped in ritual is no way related to any work of Satan
